5 Knitting patterns you need to knit this fall
It’s the time of year when you can start knitting, and you won’t feel utterly disgusting doing so. To celebrate this fantastic time, I’ve collected 5 knitting patterns to add to your knitting plans this fall.
Not only are these suggestions for you, but these are also my knitting plans for the season of fall (or autumn).
I adore knitting and while yes, you can knit all year round, there’s just something about relaxing with a warm light, blanket, and knitting up something cozy.

5 Knitting patterns you need to knit this fall
Pinterest is my bestest best friend, and helped me find some amazing fall inspiration to knit up this fall.
I found patterns that I think can resemble a lot of these patterns & I hope you love them as much as I do.

Alright, you’re going to notice a trend with these patterns. It’s mostly cardigans. A quick reminder that we are entering a transition season, so cardigans are a great addition to a closet during this season.
Sibilla Cardigan by Cookie the knitter
I kept on coming across cropped cable knit cardigans and the first thing that came to my mind was the sibilla cardigan. This knit pattern has been on my radar for months and now that fall is finally here, I think I am ready to start to knit it up.
The Sascha Cardigan by Mandy Julie
I dug deep on Ravelry to find a simple cardigan pattern. While I do love novice cardigan by petite knit, I find that cardigan is always used for the simple, basic cardigan knit.
What I love about this pattern is that it doesn’t just over the simplicity of a basic cardigan, but adding the small touch of cables to the cardigan elevates it ever so slightly.
Daydreamer Cardigan by Kutovakika
I know I’m not the only one that loved that sezane sweater. You know which one I’m talking about.
This cardigan is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of the Emile cardigan. I’m actually knitting up the day dreamer cardigan as we speak.
Eva Cardigan by Petite knit

You can’t make a ‘to knit list’ without featuring at least one petite knit pattern.
The eva cardigan is just your basic knit cardigan. What I love about this cardigan is the nautical vibes I get off this. Maybe it’s because I’m from the East Coast, but I love anything that makes me feel a nautical/ coastal type of way.
So because of this, it’s added on my to knit list.
Sirena Sweater by Cookie the Knitter
The big diamond detail like in the Sirena sweater is what drew me to this sweater. There are so many options of beautiful cable knit sweaters, but this sweater gives those fisherman vibes I’ve been looking for.
BONUS: Folklore Cardigan by Lion Brand Yarn (FREE)
To celebrate the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty & entering the season of fall, I thought adding the folklore cardigan would be the perfect touch.
If you’re a swiftie, you already know this cardigan. But this is a dupe to the cardigan featured in the song… well, cardigan!
In total, I collected 6 different knitting patterns which are all perfect for the fall season as we transition to the colder season.
I hope you enjoy your cozy season and happy knitting!
